  • on with the fix-its.
first on the list was adjust the clutch.... so I put it on the lift (naturally)

then did a full inspection and lube

these.... not sure I'm a fan.

    back to old-fashion

interesting stuff I'm testing. Basically it's a spray on wax with lube in it as well... I'm hoping it does a nice job of keeping the tin worm at bay.... we will see

so I soldered a pig tail on

    hopefully things will stay together

        • it does clean up nice after some wheeling

I went out wheeling with my standard crew

after pushing a few rocks out of the way, the little guys got through

all was not happy, the caliper started leaking

ever have that voice in your head that says "check it" but you don't? yeah, left caliper... that's the right side..

most annoyed that I didn't check it....

I'm finally going to get these painted...

top folded up to be stored

                      • It's always struck me as funny the difference between internet reaction and in-person reaction. I had to put the top on because I've given up on topless this year.... so snapped a couple pictures

what is funny is the opposed reaction that was Pirate vs. people who have seen this in real life....

                        • I would love to drool onto this thing!
Yes, I know what you done to it but still....I like looking at what was done
My son (before gf) and I would cruise the pits looking at what guys done to their cars.. Not to find illegals but the technicals of it..
Always looked for non stock stuff.. This rig probably needs stock looked for?

                          • Time to start making this winter ready... first, exhaust leaks - thanks to WA state's salting the pass, these mufflers did not last long

                            so some stainless turbos

also keeping these in place - needs positive connection, so screws it is

                            and fix the fender

                            now to brace it better

I'm going to change the dash and the EFI as well, I'm done with old-skool TBI

                            • continuing on updates
this is me saying "I don't have time to resolve the TBI's issues" technically speaking, this should pretty much bolt in place of what's there

I'm also going to change the dash a bit and put a different light controller in place...
and time to fix the heater hoses
