          • Thanks All! Getting to the exciting part now that its on the road.

Plan for now is to do a bit more "finish" work, get all lighting etc done so its legal to drive. Finish up the cowl area, install a windshield, figure out exactly how to finish the dash then blow it apart for paint.

Right now the core support mounting, rear cab mounting and even the floor pan and firewall are not finished welding yet. Have to make sure I have at least enough weld so I can do a longer test drive.

                  • Big $$ 482" 427 vs Cheap n easy v-6.

Which one will beat the HP & TQ war?

I am thinking the lowly 213 cu in v-6 wins the contest! LOL

v-6 could be 2.3 hp per cu in @ the tire.

Seeing as tho the 427 got a huge cu in jump along cnc'd heads, dual carbs, solid roller cam thought it was only fair for a couple easy v-6 bolt on's . .

                    and Plug-in's

                    • Dang! The welds on those pipes are PRETTY!!!

Speaking of which, I found out last week that my buddy who could weld like that passed away recently. He was in MI and of course I'm in NC these days so we'd lost touch. Damn shame.

                      • Why not put the turbo on the 427 based motor?

Too small for a engine displacement of 8.0 L

Turbo's are designed for the small 213 cube engine

One thing there will not be is turbo "Lag".. It should be making excellent TQ by 2200 rpm
