New frame was in the 2400-2600 range if I remember correct.

                    • Hope you're feeling better soon. I've heard that it's NASTY this year. The cold going around here this year can take as long as 6 weeks for folks to lose the last of the symptoms - mine took about 4 weeks. Just saying that I know what it's like to have a yucky feeling that drags on seemingly forever.

                        Ha! Working on that!

The cab is now mounted to the chassis for the first time. Did a bit of sandblasting on edges and corners. Now its on to trying to make everything work~fit.

                          • Now send that cab to Dynacorn so they can reproduce them for the rest of us!!!!

This is a killer thread. Wish I had the time and resources to do something similar with my yellow truck.

                            • So you put the new floor into the old cab, and modified the old firewall / hood / cowl to make the new firewall and hvac work.... this is going to be one of those vehicles folks look at parked at a car show and think "I could do that" while having absolutely no idea the trials and tribulations required to make it look like it came that way from the factory.

this is fantastic - well deserved to be on the front page.
