so it may or may not make more power ( actually im 99.9% sure it will make more
mid to top power, but i wanna feel it before passing judgement.)
    but it sure looks KILLER...

**edit--wife just walked pass screen and said "nice--you know the carbs are on
backwards, right"?? um, yeah. at least i do NOW. i feel like such a dork...***

just need to finish the linkage and split fuel system.
( and flip carbs apparently, duuuuuuurrrr..)

its for the white 78 vette with the 454.

hell yes !!! here she is with her ktm50 ( shes only 4 foot 11-1/2 ),
it lives in our kitchen in a second floor apartment.
notice the PINK graphics...she is 42yrs old in this picture, and if
i didnt know her i'd card her trying to walk into a bar, hah hah.

most guys i know, there wives wont let them bring any parts or
anything into the house anywhere. she helps me carry it upstairs
        for safekeeping.

definetely a conversation starter when you have company over--
WTF? is that a DIRTBIKE in the kitchen?!?!?!!
        yep.
why the hell do you have a dirtbike in your kitchen?
        ask her. its hers....

i got caught in the rain today driving out of manoa valley
in the white 454 vette...usually that sucks.

on the other hand, something about being able to burn rubber
everywhere without wasting too much tire tread made it just FINE....

i forget how truly nasty this thing is (99% of the time i drive it
like a little old lady) untill i get on it again. its very deceiving
(except for the rumpity-rump idle) and drives like a "normal" car-
untill you stick your foot in it. then hang on...

even thought it isnt a 'holiday', thanks to all our veterans--
your service and sacrifices is what allows dummies like me
to drive cars like this, work on em, burn rubber, be fat and
          eat cheeseburgers & pizza, etc....

so many people take it for granted.

i did it--i bought the muncie trans from mick.
plans are to sell the existing combo in the white vette
and that should finance the build for the new 468" and
            4 speed.... stay tuned.....

alrighty then found a few more pieces for the 4 gear swap, now i got the flywheel,
bellhousing, swingarm/pedals, console plate, as well as the muncie trans.

                  i still need to find--
--hurst C3 vette shifter (stock ones are 'craptastic', as i heard them described once...)
                  --clutch/pressure plate/throwout bearing/pilot bushing
--assorted small linkage pieces (got most of em already), pivot bracket on frame
--time/money/energy to do the swap, hah hah....
