I also put the spool in the spare 9". This one has 2.75 gears in it. They may be a little high, but should be better than the 4.30's that are currently in it.

I'm about to start playing with the efi, so I needed to put more fuel in the fuel cell. Seems simple enough, right? Nope.
I went to open the fuel cell and the cap would not budge. That the heck? The release would turn, but it would not lift out. I finally managed to tear the top part off and get it out. The fuel cell cap apparently had a negative reaction to fuel vapor. The lower portion is no longer round, it is triangular and would not pull back through the round hole in the cell.
I think I will replace it with a filler neck.

The funny thing about batteries is if you leave something on for days (weeks?) they tend to go dead.
While working on the O2 gauge, I noticed that the switch for the MS was on. And has been on for quite some time. Nothing caught fire! Yay! Haha.

Getting closer. I had some issues with the wideband not working properly but I think I have it fixed.
The to-do list is pretty short at this point. Install spool in spare 9" center, swap it in, install driveshaft, and start playing with the efi to get it to crank up and stay running.
I am also considering swapping to an electric fan because I do not have a suitable shroud for the mechanical fan. I haven't looked, but an electric HHR fan might be cheaper than a stock replacement shroud. Haha.

BOV is tucked neatly away where it belongs. Right next to the canteen catch can. (From the original BBRanger)

Gauges are turning out nice. Wideband and boost gauge are almost finished.

I did that back when I was installing the roll cage. It slipped forward and tagged it.
