I didn't figure on economy being a primary factor in this truck's purchase, lol. I think your mileage / tank estimates are pretty close based on what I know of the trucks is all I was saying. I did a mileage to cost scenario a few years ago and settled on 28 over 15 for the daily, but driving 35-50 miles a day drove that scenario. Different scenario, the PSD v. 351, 22 v. 15 - For a couple of months this summer I was driving over 150 a day, but figure in +30% diesel costs for the 50% better mileage and it's almost a wash when you have to change the oil.. (13 quarts v. 5). The good news is a good running 460 shouldn't complain about any reasonable load you put in or on it.
40!? Send some of that my way!! We're looking at 27 and wind all day again. Day 3 of being held semi-hostage. Supplies are running low. Down to last 30 pack. Hobby Lobby and Lowe's suck for not carrying brass tubing. I'm thinking about studding the golf cart tires if the ice doesn't melt today.
Oh, forgot something else. Did you get the CB that was in there or was that a Kraco 8-track mount?
oh hey, forgot something else. Have you ever heard of putting airsoft pellets in the tire for balancing?
