Re: 79 T-Bird, pretty sharp
My father had a 78 T-Bird new, it was a great car for him. Then he had an 80 T-Bird (first of the square Fox ones, with the uber-crappy 255 V8) ... talk about lunchbag letdown. :P
cheers

Re: 79 T-Bird, pretty sharp
My grandfather gave me a '78 Bird, silver, blue interior, T-tops, 351W. Nice car, but I didn't have room for it. Sold it to a guy a few years ago, and now he wants to sell it. He fixed some small things, and kept it nice. He never really drove it, he has an R-code Galaxie, 390 Ranchero, '55 T-Bird, '73 Mustang convert
He said if I want it back to just give him what he paid me for it. Kind of tempting, but how many do I need?
I am thinking about it with a nice built up Windsor motor, exhaust, gears, etc, and some wheels.

Hauling ass & sucking gas are the best uses for a truck.
