I get misty when I see those cars, I had a 78 w/250 TH350 nicknamed 'The Valdez' (kept a case of oil in the trunk) :D
I got it for free with a seized motor & a bad trans, dumped some oil/trans fluid/pb blaster in the cylinders...
Broke loose the flywheel, put a free TH350 in it, & drove the hell out that car for 4 yrs. I had some good times in that ride!
Funny thing too, my neighbor has one identical to mine, & I've been tempted to buy it, but gotta finish the V8 S-10 1st ;)

As odd as that may be, I knew a guy who had a 78-79 Olds Cutlass with a 260 which is no big deal but it also had a 5 speed manual w/ floor shifter in it from the factory. Not really a hi prof car but really different.Originally posted by Remy-ZComment
