I really wanna call BS for the 4-gear auto in a '78. But, considering I've owned two of 'em, what's a third?Editor-at-Large at...well, here, of course!

I get misty when I see those cars, I had a 78 w/250 TH350 nicknamed 'The Valdez' (kept a case of oil in the trunk) :D
I got it for free with a seized motor & a bad trans, dumped some oil/trans fluid/pb blaster in the cylinders...
Broke loose the flywheel, put a free TH350 in it, & drove the hell out that car for 4 yrs. I had some good times in that ride!
Funny thing too, my neighbor has one identical to mine, & I've been tempted to buy it, but gotta finish the V8 S-10 1st ;)
