Love these cars. Had a 79 Impala myself 25 yrs ago. Car was slow.Even after a hooley 600,performer intake and a mild cam it was a dog. Something about those 2.56 something gears. Thing was so slow I toke my skinny tire off the front and got some more 50's for the front and entertained myself on cloverleafs around Indy.I was "pro=touring before it was popular. Back to the car at hand. Seems about 4000 grad too high.
