      I so dig these things after having one as the "company car" when I worked at a mechanics shop. Would love a wagon version locally!

        Definitely a fun sleeper platform for a 5.0 swap ... the 85 Marquis LTS with a factory 5.0 HO CFI I had was a blast, nobody expected it.

        Just to nitpick, those aren't actually LTD IIs ... by that year the full-size cars had the designation LTD Crown Victoria, so the mid-size car was just LTD. I guess the habit of calling the mid-size cars as LTD II got carried over from the 77-79 models.
