      Brings back memories ... my folks had a 70 Estate Wagon w/455 power. Gold with a brown gut...I could fit 12 of my friends in it!

        my grandparents had a67 Impala, 69 LTD, then a 73 Olds...wife's grandparents had a 65 Skylark and a big 71 Buick....all with 4 doors, all with the same theme of total automotive boredom.

        I guess if you're younger than me, they don't look that way?

                While I was still in the Navy, stationed at Charleston, SC, they gave me that car ....
                .. 455 cubic-inch Rocket V8, three-speed Turbo Hydra-matic transmission, power steering and power front disc brakes.
                Oh yeah !!!

                  My Dad drove a '71 root beer brown metallic Electra 225 4 dr hardtop with tan velour inside. It had a 455. He only had a short time before getting our '73 Coupe de Ville.
