1956 AIRCRAFT TUG/TRACTOR HOBART MOTOR GENERATOR CORP CHRYSLER INDUSTRIAL HEMI V-8
Vintage Airport Tractor/Tug circa 1956. It came with a Chrysler Hemi V-8 Engine and 3-speed standard transmission. It came out of the airport at the Fort Ord military installation when it closed.
My research indicates that it was manufactured by Motor Generator Corporation of Ohio, an affiliate of Hobart. Serial# 6FW-3721, Model# 3040, KW = 33, Volts = 28.5, Amps = 1000/1500.
Used exclusively in parades and car shows around the Monterey Peninsula for the last 15 years. Runs well and would be great for advertisement and/or event promotions.
I can part it out if necessary.
