    The question is how to id them as authentic. I'm reading conflicting info.

      Oh my.....I rode home from the hospital (after being born) in a '68 Skylark optioned exactly like a GS except for the steering wheel.

      Always had a thing for these cars.

      The stains on the paint under the emblems on the black car are a good indicator of authentisity. Hard to fake that detail, at least on the black car I'm convinced.
      Of all the paths you take in life - make sure a few of them are dirt.

        Back in the day you could find Skylarks like candy, they were hard to get rid of. I stayed away from them.

        That being said, there's a Buick on my local Craigslist 1966 Buick Special - $2500 (kingman az)
