  • 1955 Pontiac Safari Wagon (Nomad) Restore or Rod (Apex)

RARE! A true survivor. All original solid California car, with some recent upgrades including disc brake, aluminum radiator, A/C and electric distribution. Original paint with only 67,000 original miles! Original motor and trans. Runs great, either restore or show as a rat rod. Would be a restorer's or hot rodder's dream as the Safari is much more rare than it's less expensive Chevy Nomad sister. To much info to list. 919.740.5943 or I will return emails quickly as they go to my phone. Please no tire kickers, needs to go to a good home to someone that knows and appreciates the beauty of the original ultimate luxury wagon. $24k or willing to trade for Hot Rod, Muscle car, or other classic

If you can leave two black stripes from the exit of one corner to the braking zone of the next, you have enough horsepower. - Mark Donohue

Two-door wagons are all the rage at the moment, looks cool, but I still like the Nomad much better.
