Re: 1978 Mercury Cougar XR7 - $2300
I've got a soft spot for those too. My dad had a '78 XR-7 and this is my mother's '79 T-Bird. This photo was taken the morning after she picked it up from the dealership, had about 35 miles on it. I took my driver's test in it about 6 months later, passed!
Just groovin' to my own tune.

Re: 1978 Mercury Cougar XR7 - $2300
I had a '78 T-Bird that my Grandfather gave me. Silver, blue interior, Keystones, T-tops, 351W, full load. Not my cup of tea. I sold it last year. It was competing for space with other stuff and I had to let it go.

Can anyone tell me what are the good points of 1978 Mercury Cougar XR7? My friend wants me to buy her old Mercury Cougar XR7 car , it still looks great. But i just wanna make sure if it is worth it to buy that car. But all i know is Mercury Car Parts are really durable though its simple only but i don't mind. Thanks for helping me out. That would really contribute for my decision.Last edited by Joy Ehlers; August 1, 2011, 05:53 PM.
