Re: 65 Bel Air Coupe
Rebel did you call or what? That thing is awsome minus the wheels of course. I am sure you could ebay or CL them and get some of your money back. Ever since CHP ran the story on the bluish green 65 that runs 10's a year or so back I have been looking for one of these hard for awhile. I just cant get it from there to here for an amount that would justify buying the car, because if I could I would.

Re: 65 Bel Air Coupe
I called and went to look at it too, but the owner forgot the keys. It really didn't matter as it needs brakes simply because it sat for 8 years. No test drive would've happened anyways.
It's been in a garage since '00 untouched. It's very straight with very little rust. Just a few pin holes around the lower part of rear window. It's got two coats of paint of top of the original color. Recovered seats and new headliner. The dash is kinda messed up. The speedo lens is missing and the radio hole has been hacked.
6 cyl/ PG/ 12 bolt (?!) car. Pwer steering, manual brakes.
Very tempting. I know I could get it driveable very easily. The price is very negotiable as it's been for sale for 8 months.

Re: 65 Bel Air Coupe
The owner called me and said he's gonna be there tomorrow with the keys and some gas to get it running. He practically beg me to come by. Desperate? Yes or no?
I'm still trying to figure out how I'd pay for it.BS'er formally known as Rebeldryver
