Had the same type of van in a 1964 Ford back in the70's. Put a 302 in mine. It was a lot of fun. Not very safe and comfortable. Straight axle, Trans linkage is about 7 feet long and usually not very tight. You sit on the top of the front wheels so any suspension movement is pretty exagerated. You can however scare the crap out of your passengers with how close you can come to things in front of you. Used to have a Chev like this one in my neighborhood. It had botton tufted interior and was all black. It was very cool.Comment
