Re: nice bmw 740i $2500
You don't want to know what parts for that thing cost. And, with 225K on the odometer; I'm guessing it will need a few. We just dumped our last 745 last week. Good riddance.
One of my clients has a 91 740 that I've driven a time or two. It's only got 26,000 miles on it.BS'er formally known as Rebeldryver

Re: nice bmw 740i $2500
They were talkin about the 750il.
Got the V12. Sorry guys i have a couple 3's and lov'em.
But Reb's right with that milage somethings very exspensive could go wrong.
Quick little tidbit. The last 2 numbers of a bimmers designation are the displacment.
So a 740 is the 4.0v8, 750 5.0 v12, etc..

Shares the same intake, and fuel delivery system.
Biggest disadvantage, bigger cams 1,200$, OBD1,Exhaust parts are rediculous unless
you make your own, since it has such low numbers it's hard to
find parts that are reasonable
Kinda what your talkin, I buy these everytime i can. I have 3 extras for my two 3's
