  • 350 Roller Block & Vortec Heads

    Short version:
    2 bolt main 350 roller block - $200 OBO
    062 casting Vortec heads - $300 OBO

The Vortec 350 roller block is from a 99 Chevy van. I snagged it from a technician friend that replaced the engine. Apparently the van is owned by the state of Maine and it had some piston slap, so they put a brand new GM engine it. My buddy kept the heads and sold me the rest for the $50 core charge.

Engine has approx 90,000 miles on it and has not been disassembled. Has some carbon on the pistons and the normal grease and dirt of a 90,000 engine.

The heads are the more desirable 062 casting with the hardened exhaust seat instead of the insert that the 902 casting has. I purchased these from a guy that bought them new for a Camaro project car that he abandoned when he had to ship out for the Navy. They need a little clean up, but are in very good condition.

    Location: Bangor, ME

Will help load and will deliver short distance. More for fuel money.

    Interesting sales tactic.

    I love the honesty!

Yeah, well, the Bangshift friends and family discount plan is in effect here. I've got $50 in the block, would like to make a little money, but mostly want it out of the garage. I kinda left that in there as a game to see who would actually notice. Gold star for you!

The Craigslist ad I posted conveniently left the purchase price out. I have a lot more than $50 in the heads, in case anyone is wondering.
