      should...they were really good about making the starters interchangeable. as long as it's a big block chevy, that is.

      also if the LT4 uses the same size flywheel as the big block you're working on, most (all?) big blocks had the big flywheel, I think the later vettes used the small one, but I'm not sure.

        I am not a Chevy guy but it works with my 160 tooth Buick flexplate. Isn't the Chevy big ring gear a 168 tooth? Also its straight bolt pattern only, or atleast mine is.

          Some of the different divisions of GM used the same starter, but it's been too long since I worked at the junkyard for me to remember it all...sorry!

            An LTX starter utilizes a 146 tooth flywheel only.
