    The reason you have to resize the rods is the torque. The more torque, the better chance you have of distorting the bore.

    I don't know, but I would think thay ARP bolts at the stock torque would still get you the strength you're trying to gain. You might want to call ARP and ask what less torque does to the tensile strength of their bolts.

      Sizing is done to the nearest 1/10,000 inch....you'll see they are way off when you put in new bolts. You'll probably see they're off a bit when you retorque the original bolts and measure the bores.
