TH400 blowing oil

I need some TH400 info. The trans builder is going to look at the trans tomorrow and I want to be prepered. When we get to the top of 2nd and thru 3rd it starts blowing fluid out. It looks like the front seal to me, but it's hard to tell because the fluid is all over. Where it's not is by the over flow tube. It's dry up there.

So my questions are what could cause the front seal to leak at speed, and could this also eat up horsepower?

TH400 1000? miles on rebuild
manual valve body
3800 stall
1000ish HP
F1r blower
3700lb+ El Camino

I know I'm forgeting some importent info, I always do.

where the pump to case bolts tight?

I don't know if the bolts are tight, I didn't of that. I'll try to check them

blowing some trans fluid under severe stress is normal [out the vent]
maybe the mainline pressure is through the roof ?

What's the mainline pressure supposed to be, and where would I check it?

It's not over filled. we took the pan off and checked the dipstick length. We remarked it, but we have been running it low anyway. It has a deep pan. I don't know about the vent tube being blocked, I'll have to ask the trans guy if he checks that.
