Make sure you use the steel shim that goes under the carb or the exhaust will warp or even melt the bottom of the carb. With the TBI, I'd just plug it with a set screw.

I figured something wasn't right when I'd burn my fingers taking the air cleaner off! I got some things from http://centervilleautorepair.com/ to set up the TBI.
