I Sent a e-form about this thread to the MSD tech support dept.
With a link to this thread.
Hopefully They will After reading the form, come here and reply to the O/P. issue.
That is all I can think of to help.
This way maybe MDS can sell you just the chip you need. and mail it. If they understandably won't give you a part # or supplier.
MSD had huge problems with fake boxes (counterfit) from china. So I understand if they won't give you a part number.
The form stated give them 2-4 days to reply to the tech request.
    Hope this helps.

      Eric. My eternal gratitude.
I hope that the manufacturer allows me to solve this simple problem.
      Thanks again from the heart.

That's probably some sort of surface mount MOSFET. Are you able to read the part numbers on it with a magnifying glass? Sometimes these are pretty tough to photograph.

Matt Cramer, our first attempt, (mine and the electronics technician) was to use a magnifying glass and the result was L4MVD4 - K151.
This number is not a recognized part number.
I took several pictures too, but it was not possible to do the reading.
          See photos in the post.
I am grateful for your suggestion, but unfortunately we were unable to proceed.
