If your AFR gauge is reading 8 cylinders then it's going to be an iffy average.

Thats what i was thinking about as i was tuning my new carb, the sensor is in bank one, so it may be reading 12.5:1 on that bank but what is bank 2? This is where you either add another sensor for that side or just tune it to run the best ive learned.

Mine is just after the Y pipe, so I'm reading all 8.

Right on, i installed mine in the collector.. I wonder what itd do in the h pipe i have ??

You could have a sensor in the other bank with a toggle switch
