  • Electric Closed loop AFR correction for carbonators?

I was watching Thunderhead 289 he was playing with a lawnmower carbs on a 302 V8. The funny part was it was rich so he came up with a computer controller for a GM IAC based off wide band O2.

The hardware used all looked reasonably costed. Not sure I could reproduce the code. Looks like something someone could put in a box and sell to carb guys to get better drivability / milage.

I can't remember which video he shows the board and block

That guy sounds like he could make mechanical fuel injection work on the street. That idea could be used to control the pill, more appropriately called the high speed bypass, line to adjust on the fly, keeping the mixture at stoic. Or maybe slightly rich for drivability. Hmmmm

I bet he could tinker with an engineering degree.
