  • 2003 8.1 /496 to 3500HD NV 4500

As the title says I want to put these two together . And I don't want to waste 300 bucks . I can find charts for the 2500 but not the 3500 HD . I would assume it's the same but would like some proof .

I wouldn't assume it's the same, the HD trucks are more akin to the medium duty trucks then light trucks....
Doing it all wrong since 1966

I don't know the answer to the question. But don't forget the turbo!

SBG - Yeah , the difference between a 2500 one ton and a 3500 HD is quite substantial from the frame down . Like I don't think the 2500 has a drum brake mounted on the trans tail housing, rear axle I believe is bigger and of course the leaf sprung solid beam axle in the front. My head hurt trying to get this figured out . So I winged it and pulled the trigger on this one .

That truck board is huge and useful.
I don't see me needing a turbo but then again I never saw me liking a audi Q7 but that turbo was fun .

Thursday thru the following Thursday it's supposed to be in the 50s . We'll see if we can get the engine flywheel and clutch in the truck .
