  • Header Tubing Help

I need to fab a set of headers. I'm wondering if anyone has any preferances as to who's the better tubing to go with... Hooker, Heddman, Jegs, Summit... My brother used the Summit tubing on his last set and was not impressed, as the tubing got thin on the outer radius of the bends. Any input would be appreciated!!

I used Hooker to build mine and the tubing was fine. You will always run into a small difference in diameter when you cut in a bend and weld it to a straight piece -- the piece cut from a bend will typically be a hair smaller.

When I built my turbo headers I used a kit from Alston. Very nice stuff and his kits use 16ga tubing.
