wifes gad.
was trying to get the speed sensor out of the tranny..
on a 1999 toraus..
and snapped the bolt that holds the sensor hold down clip.
is there a way to get to it.. to get an eazyout at it (have not seen car..) no idea where it is..
other than he said on the top of the tranny but under the engine..//////

I'll get to rub it in being a ford guy and me the black tie..
but..
I'd like to be armed with the right tools etc. when I drive down..
hate buy'n tools that I have but are 30+ miles away

It's on the trans near the LH axle, on the side of the case.
Points out just like the CV shaft.

Strut may be in your way, but that's easily removed.

his wreist was fused,,,and he doesn't have the movement he used to..
was the top ase tech in a g.m. store in hanover,ma for years.. and a national guard..
boat engine mechanic for years..he'd be called to go to hawaii, to fix a boat. them alaska.etc
it's killing him , to have no movement.. and not be able to fix it..

Actually they do make sweet Jeeps and trucks but they aren't for sale here.

A Mahindra MAXX is on my list of things I wish I could bring back from India with me.

hell even a side oiler..
