    I consider the 389/400/421/455/428 to be BB's,
    I don't put the 301 in the same class.

    It's my opinion, which may or may not be "correct".

      What about the Pontiac 326 and 350? Same external dimensions and nearly complete part interchangability.

      What does GoatRacer and JeffMcKC think? ;D

        There's no such thing as a big or small block pontiac. Or olds or caddy for that matter. Buick had small blocks and big blocks, so did Chevy and ford and mopar. AMC did not
