  • Wide Band O2 with OBD1???

Hi, Im new here and I heard this was a good place to ask this question.

My question is I'm looking at getting tuning software for my stock computer in my 91 trans am tpi. How would I run a wide band O2 sensor with this? What all would I need to do?

    Thanks David

Re: Wide Band O2 with OBD1???

you will need a wideband O2 sensor "kit" which includes the controller. You can run it separately from the OBD computer, or you can use some of the controllers (Innovate LC-1, for example) to REPLACE the existing narrowband O2 sensor, but still feed your factory computer a narrowband signal. The LC-1 has two outputs, one can be used as this narrowband and fed back into your factory computer so it stays happy while you now have the ability to monitor and log AFRs.
