Right, I admit it was a bit of a highjack. I dislike non cross flow inline engines but there aren't that many older ones that are. The old 1/2 389 Pontiac was because it was a V8 head but I can't think of anything else.

Now i know i am getting old. I had completely forgotten about those 1/2 389 engines. That brought back some old memory's just trying to hang them on a hoist to install in the car was a task.

A bunch of the furrin' ones are crossflow. The Fiat 2l comes to mind, as well as the Corolla 1.6l hemi (cool little engine but no power in stock form). I'm sure there's more.

Sissel made an aluminum cross flow for the Chevy inline, but they are pricey and rare. Not sure if they still offer it. Crossflows are great, but I'll get by with my PES lump port.
