Can I drop a valve body from a non-electronic trans into an electronic trans? Or the guts from a 4l65e into a TH700R4?

Thanks for all the good info...as crazy as it sounds I'm pondering a far future swap of a beefed up 200-R4 into my A-100, mainly because of the short wheelbase (90") that dictates a tiny drive shaft...a long tranny would cause the drive shaft to be too short (problems with U-joint angles). Otherwise I would never replace a 727 for anything else.
