i got the vacuum leak fixed but in the process of having idle problems, i messed with the throttle stop screw. does any body know how many turns from closed the throttle is to be

that is called a minimal air adjustment
there are a few ways you can do it with a scan tool , you can set the tps adjustment to .5 volts , you can use a dvom and probe the blue wire and ground to .5 volts , you can run the iac valve all the way in with a thexton tool [got one ] or a tech 1 [got one ] or tech 2 and set the idle to about 700 rpm
you want to get the throttle plate in the correct position or your tps volts will be all messed up
this is an obd1 system. can i still use a scan tool or is there a special tool or something else. when it is all said and done, the tps volts need to be .5 volts at idle?
