Re: mounting sending unit for elect fan

I have a big block, but my sending unit for my FI computer that also controls my fans is installed into the intake.
I do use another sending unit in the head for my factory gauge.

      Bob,

      That's an excellent location.

We see a variety of engines and our goal is to place the sensor
as far back to the rear of the engine as possible, always.

(The absolute worst sensor set-up is that hokey-jokey radiator "probe".)

hypertec offers the lower temp ones , GM has them , but I am not sure of the part number
The industry leader in performance programming, Hypertech builds popular truck, car, UTV, and SUV custom tuning programmers that deliver maximum power, torque and efficiency.

        Firebirds ran them between 6-8
