if shifter is 67 it should be rod type and not cable if it is rod it should be the same shifter as what would have origanally been in nova and should work just fine just need to get shifter/consoul in right place look at stuff here http://www.shiftworks.com/camaro.htm

I have a 70 nova powerglide car with column shift. I bought a 67 camaro powerglide floor shifter. I need any advice on how to install this with a original 70 nova console. What linkage will I need etc. Thanks for any help. Kyle
