  • GM Engine hour meter reset.

A couple days ago I went out to my truck and the battery was dead (well very very low), and when I jump started it all has been good except it seems to of reset the engine hour meter. All the other stats were remembered, trip, odometer, average mpg, gallons used and radio stations, but the engine hour meter was reset to zero.

Is this normal? Because I found it exceptionally odd that the battery was dead. I don't have any indication lights or anything were on. The truck was driven the day before, and hasn't had any issues since. Looks like my average speed is around 60,000mph though!

Hmm, I don't remember the exact hours that were on it though. Are there other places in the ECU it can be looked up? I'm up to 1.5hrs.
