Which Mustang II and why?

At the Ford Carlisle show this year, I was a late 49 or 50 F1 that was clipped by what looked to be a mid 60's Galaxy frame. I looked it over pretty well and it seemed to fit pretty well. Plus the 65 & 66 cars had some pretty good size disc brakes. They were 12" x 1.25" rotors along with 4 piston calipers! They will fit in a 15" rim and provide excellent braking.
