    Looks like I have the oldest red top of the crowd. 10 years ago it didn't cost $180, but if it dies one of these years, I'll shell out the bucks for another one.

    The car has sat unused more than it's been used. From 5 to 10 years ago, it was used nearly every weekend to go drag racing. For the past 4 years, it has sat unused in the garage for months at a time.
    Only this past year has it started losing some charge after sitting for 3 or so months between startings. Maybe I should turn off my battery kill switch when the car sits. :P

    As I said in the first page, it still takes a charge when it needs it.

      Im actually about to get one for my jeep. I need something up to the vibration off roading will do to it.

        I run NAPA's gel battery...works great, same advantages with no fuming, much, much cheaper.
