    delphi ..right now mine is 15 years young ..delphi /delco/car quest sells the delphi unit

        yes ..saving money on the pump - carter/airco , they only last 18mos

          having been on both sides of the counter now, (dealership and aftermarket). there is a difference between OEM and aftermarket. something will hold up as well, others not so much. when it comes to fuel pumps, OEM or nothing! Delco or gm in this case. I lived several years paycheck to paycheck, so I understand the money thing, however, spend the money and do it right on a fuel pump. just had to do this in my wife's Tahoe.

            Check out the electrical connector for that fuel pump. I went with the delco and had to drop the tank again to replace that connector. Has been working for seven years.

            Oh, and mine is a suburban so dropping the tank was the only way. No bed to lift. And at 40 gallons siphoning some out was a good thing.
