All fixed. Took a few guys a few hours. I went across the street to my buddies to help sort an '04 STi wiring harness for his '00 WRX RS swap. I mentioned that I needed to borrow his soldering iron and another buddy offered to do it if I dropped the tank. I said THANKS! So we dropped (literally) the tank and soldered it back on in about an hour. When we dropped the tank I realized I had a lot more gas than I thought, which was nice until we had to put it back in. With a few hours of manly grunting and some jack work we got it all back in and working. 8) Car guys are bad ass even if it takes two GM guys a BMW guy and a Subaru guy to get it done.
