Re: Who knows rack and pinions?

call unisteer they will talk to you .we put a manual one on where i work and dont remember the turning being that bad.
it takes up the least room of any rack kit i have seen and well built IMO

Re: Who knows rack and pinions?

Talked with Unisteer, seemed to be a good bunch of guys. They could do a custom rack for more turning radius but their kit wouldn't work with a custom rack.

There were a bunch of Camaro and Nova guys at Pro-touring.com that have used the Unisteer kit and were all happy with the results, no complaints about turning radius or bump steer . . . maybe I am being too anal?

The only issue I read about with the Unisteer was the steering linkage can be tricky to install because of the angles. Shouldn't be too hard with the engine out of the car and headers being built around it afterwards . . .

Definitely leaning towards Unisteer at this point.
