Re: Intake manifold mania - what really works?

I got the same results from the Holley online calculator - 830 to 1000 cfm options. I called Holley tech and they strongly recommended their 950HP, which I've heard good and bad about. I'm leaning toward the Holley 830 (w/ annular boosters) or an 850 Mighty Demon (also w/ annular).

Not sure what your motor combo is, but I've put Mighty Demon 830s on two different motors, one was a crate 383 dynoed at 520 hp, and a new old stock (crate) LS6 with Pro Topline aluminum heads and a .670 lift roller cam, and both worked awesome.

One of them there "belt-driven" intake manifolds is a proven power producer!

It's really no different than trying to glue them back on after she has her way.
