ok I am shopping for piston rings, whats the differance between crome moly and plasma moly benifits downfalls? seems like a huge differance in money to me.

Really depends on what you are doing.

What motor and how much hp?
What is the purpose of the motor?
What piston are you going to run and ring size?

As this will be a mostly street cruiser, a quality
plasma moly will be suitable.
Chrome faced rings are not what you want.

Go file fit, set the engaps at spec, and be done.
