  • Borg-Warner (ETT) Turbos

Any one have hands-on experience w/the BW ETTs?

How do you like them? Comments/Opinions? Quality/Construction?

Real-world differences from previous (Garrett/Turbonetics, etc) turbos?

Reportedly, these units "git 'r done" at lower psi...true?

    TIA! -------------------

    Re: Borg-Warner (ETT) Turbos

There has been some discussion on the Turbo Buick web board about them but most of us use 3 bolt turbos and these aren't available in 3-bolts. Lots of good things about them compared to the "Boosted" Percision stuff which wakes up at 20+psi.

      Two Lane,

You cab find out tones on info @ www.theturboforums.com/forums/
The S400's are a great unit for the price. This is one of the direct from an
over road app to a domestic v-8 gas motor that works very well.
Many of the other are modded chra's built to work for us.

The S400 75mm T-6 flange is great starting turbo for a mid sized v-8 around 1k in hp.
You can get a Turbo, American made W/G and BOV all for about $1200.00 plus s/h.

        Bob,

Thanks for the great link...very informative/helpful.

Need here would be to stuff the B-W ETT components

into a T3 Garrett case. Was glad to see that is now

being done as a "hybrid" option.

Hope to hear feedback from the field on these soon.
