Don't bother with one of those Holley spread bores. Stick with the Q Jet. They work better in the spread bore world.

Ok, got some time out in the garage today. got the carb back on and the plugs changed.

AC Delco R45TS gapped to .45 I adjusted the idle mixture screws on the carb to being 2 turns out from bottomed out. adjusted the choke after I discovered that it was getting hung up.

no more stalling when you stop the car, it seems to be running better and happier.

then I cracked the screen on my phone. so it was a mixed bag.
