MSII warmup enrichments for blown E85
October 25, 2017, 04:46 AM
My blown E85 application is VERY cold natured; hard to start. Can anyone give me a good idea of warmup enrichment settings?

E85 may need somewhat more warmup enrichment as it doesn't vaporize as well as gasoline. I don't have the exact numbers for how to change it, though.

Matt, because my IAT is above the blower and Im getting additional adiabatic cooling it just exacerbates the issue. Other thoughts?

Can you share a data log of the issue and a copy of your tune?
Putting the IAT below the blower may help, too.

IAT below the blower resulted in very bad heat soak and excessive lean conditions. I will send tune and data log tonight.
thanks
