does your exhaust still stink?

one of the benfits I though efi was going to give me was clean up the smell of my exhaust.

When running carbed, I always smelled bad after tooling around in the car for a while. You could tell the exhaust was the cause.

After switching to efi, I thought it would have more of the newer car type smell out the exhaust, and not smell so bad.

Am I delusional? Or is it due to all the extra emissions stuff I don't have?

The newer car exhaust smell is likely the effects of the Catalytic converters changing the make up of the gas content.

Thought that might be the case, but thought I would ask if anyone got it to go away. Might still be a tunining issue or not.
