ive already done the floors in it once haha, so making the trans tunnel bigger wont be a big deal. but how much wiring am i looking at? should i just be able to hook up everything that it comes with and run it or am i gonna have to do some splicing into the chassis harness in the monte too?

Itll run fine, just not the most performance. Swap it in. It'll run, at worst you'd have to mess with the VATS. Id save for a tune, you can drop a full second in the 1/4 on a stock motor. Only thing Im not sure about is how the 80e will fit your tranny tunnel. Id trade you a 60e if you was closer. you can make it work thou.

i found an lq4 6.0 with the trans, wiring harness and ecu all for sale on craigslist. could i just put this in the monte the way it is since i'd have everything? or would i still have to get it tuned? what else would i have to do other than mounts and driveshaft lengthening/shortening?
